Popular drinks at wedding events

Champagne, a classic for any wedding toast is the go-to option for most brides on their big day, but it might be surprising to hear that not everyone likes to drink Champagne, so if your guests have similar tastes, then it might be worth considering a few alternative options.

Alcholic options

Prosecco is hugely popular now and is a great alternative to Champagne. As a matter of fact, if you are not a wine connoisseur then you are likely not able to tell the difference, especially at a distance. Some people are not keen on wine at all and prefer to drink shorts, like brandy or gin, sometimes with a mixer like coke or tonic.

Non alcoholic options

Juices are a great option for those who are the designated driver or who don’t like to drink for other reasons. J20 offer a wide choice of flavours and they are ideal even for those younger members of the wedding party. If your wedding guests prefer a warmer drink then why not offer a pot of tea or a fresh ground coffee?

Carbonated drinks

While carbonated drinks can make a great mixer for a wide range of shorts, they are also good to drink on their own. Some parents might not allow their younger children to drink them as some of them contain a lot of sugar, but for other guests, they could be a perfect choice.

Other choices

Freshly squeezed juice, such as orange or apple are really tasty, mocktails are fun, but nothing is more refreshing than a cool glass of water!
